Clay Sculpting

This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your Clay Sculpting skills. This competition provides a platform where participants will create a sculpture based on the theme of the day to claim the coveted Bengaluru GAFX Clay Sculpting Champion’s title.

All participants will assemble under a common roof on the given day and compete to create the most compelling Clay Sculpting in a controlled setting. The theme will be revealed prior to the start of the challenge.

There will be separate categories for Students and Professionals.

Supplies

Basic supplies like organic clay and base stand will be provided at the event. Participants are required to bring their own tools.

Judging Criteria

  1. A panel of experts from the Industry will judge the competition.
  2. Most important criteria for judging will be the quality, likeability of the character, and appeal of anatomy.
  3. The decision of the judges is final, based on the criteria set out in the competition, and no negotiation will be entertained over this decision.
  4. Participants caught engaging in any malpractices or unethical behaviour will be immediately disqualified.

  • How do I participate?

You need to Register here for the competition and follow all the relevant guidelines.

  • Is this competition open for Students / Professionals? What if I am part-time studying and part-time working?

The competition has two separate categories – Students and Professionals. Be sure to select the appropriate category while filling the Registration Form. If you are a part-time student and part-time working professional, you will qualify under the Student Category.
Participants must share a link to their work in the Registration Form to be selected for the competition. Only the best of the best will be selected for the competition.

  • When will the theme of the competition be announced?

Theme of the challenge and other specific details pertaining to this category will be revealed just before the start of the challenge. It is advised to arrive one hour prior to the start of the challenge.

  • What are the prizes? Apart from the prizes, will the winning entries receive feedback on the submission?
