Digital Painting

All participants will assemble under a common roof on the given day and compete to create the most compelling Digital Painting in a controlled setting.

There will be separate categories for Students and Professionals.


The theme will be revealed prior to the start of the competition.

Final Output

The final output will be required in JPEG format and PSD file with layers if using Photoshop.


Participants will be provided with systems with Adobe Photoshop installed.


Participants will have access to mentoring from Industry leaders during the course of the competition.

Judging Criteria

  1. A panel of experts from the Industry will judge the competition.
  2. Most important criteria for judging will be the quality, likeability and appeal of painting.
  3. The decision of the judges is final, based on the criteria set out in the competition, and no negotiation will be entertained over this decision.
  4. Participants caught engaging in any malpractices or unethical behaviour will be immediately disqualified.
  5. Use of existing art will result in disqualification.

  • How do I participate?

You need to Register here for the competition and follow all the relevant guidelines, and important dates mentioned on the site here.

  • Is this competition open for Students / Professionals? What if I am part-time studying and part-time working?

The competition has two separate categories – Students and Professionals. Be sure to select the appropriate category while filling the Registration Form. If you are a part-time student and part-time working professional, you will qualify under the Student Category.

Participants must share a link to their work in the Registration Form to be selected for the competition. Only the best of the best will be selected for the competition.

  • When will the theme of the competition be announced?

Theme of the challenge and other specific details pertaining to this category will be revealed just before the start of the challenge. It is advised to arrive one hour prior to the start of the challenge.

  • How do I need to submit my final output?

The final output should be submitted in JPEG format and PSD file with layers if you’re using Photoshop.

  • Apart from the prizes, will the winning entries receive feedback on the submission?
