Rules and Regulations for Bengaluru GAFX 2025 – B2B Event Pitch Submissions
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Participants must be above 18 years old and citizens of India to participate in the B2B event.
- Pitch Submission Guidelines:
- The participant may present any story, concept, idea, or script suitable for various content forms (film, TV, animation, gaming, digital platforms).
- Submissions should include a short synopsis of the original pitch, limited to 2 pages or 5 minutes for audio-visual content (in English) along with the Entry Form.
- A short trailer (1-2 minutes) showcasing the participant’s profile, previous works (if applicable), and existing traction.
- Deadline for registration: 24th Feb, 2025, by 5 PM.
- File Formats and Participation Fee:
- Pitch submissions must be in ‘.doc’, ‘.docx’, ‘.pdf’, or ‘.ppt’ files, or in .MP4 or .MOV for audio-visual content (AV). AV submissions should be played with headphones.
- Participation fee for the B2B event: Rs. 5000/-.
- Pitch Selection and Slot Booking:
- Bengaluru GAFX will shortlist pitches based on selection criteria.
- Upon selection, participants will receive a slot booking link via email 2-3 days prior to the event
- Participants can select their preferred buyers using the slot booking link.
- Final slots/schedule announcement: by 25th Feb 2025, at 4 PM.
- Event Instructions and Conduct:
- Selected participants will receive further instructions via email regarding event timings and flow.
- Each individual/company can fill only one application form and present multiple pitches. Each company is allowed 2 presenters who can pitch together to the buyers. Both presenters will be provided with B2B Forum pass.
- Presenters must pitch directly to respective producers/commissioners/studios/networks/publishers. Presentation aids, if needed, should be arranged by the presenters.
- Intellectual Property and Conduct:
- Participants agree to indemnify Bengaluru GAFX and its affiliates from any IPR-related issues/claims.
- It’s recommended that content owners register their content with relevant authorities.
- Expected decorum during interactions; organizers reserve the right to disqualify candidates due to misconduct, with their decision being final.

B2B Forum 25 FAQ’s
1) What are the kinds of buyers coming to the B2B Forum’25?
A: Broadcasters, producers, distributors, investors from across the globe.
2) What do they want to see?
A: Good IPs with a global essence.
3) What is the minimum preparation I should have to pitch my idea?
A: The minimum preparation depends on your project’s readiness level. B2B Forum’25 offers three categories: Pre-Production, Production, and Ready Product. Tailor your pitch to your specific stage, focusing on the key elements relevant to that level.
4) How do I apply to be a pitcher? What if I have more than one pitch?
A: You can register online at https://gafx.in/b2b-registration/
Each participant will be allowed only one registration per company. Each company can be represented by 2 people.
5) How will my application be evaluated?
A: There will be no evaluation by the GAFX Committee. The Buyers will review your applications beforehand to have a more productive meeting.
6) What do I have to do after applying/registering?
A: Wait for the Buyer-Seller schedule booking link. Prepare a proper pitch deck with a teaser/trailer if possible.
7) Who do I address my queries to, if I have any requirements for my pitch?
A: You can write to b2b.gafx@gmail.com. Your queries will be addressed.
8) When will I receive the dates/schedule for my pitch?
A: Scheduling will open a few days before the “Bengaluru GAFX 2025” event.
9) Will I get an opportunity to engage in a one-on-one with a buyer beyond the time scheduled of 15mins?
A: No, the discussions are allowed only during the B2B Forum’25. However, you may have an opportunity to engage with the buyer during the networking evening.
10) Is there anything happening besides the pitches at GAFX?
A: Yes. Conferences, Master Classes, Screenings, Networking, Exhibitions and Competitions are happening as a part of Bengaluru GAFX 2025.
11) Are there any fees I have to pay to ABAI for participation?
A: No, but you are free to register to ABAI if you are interested.
12) How does my pitch stay confidential?
A: All efforts will be taken to keep it confidential. An NDA will also be signed beforehand by both Sellers and Buyers.
13) Can a studio / individual attend the B2B event even if they are not pitching?
A: No they cannot. It’s a closed door event.
14) Can they register without specifying the pitch and make presentations on the spot?
A: No. Pitches have to be specified.
15) Will I be able to attend the Bengaluru GAFX 2025 conference on other days when I am not participating in the B2B Forum?
A: Yes, you will have access to the conferences being conducted at the Bengaluru GAFX 2025 event.
16) Is food provided as a part of the registration fee for all 3 days?
A: No. The event venue will have food counters. Participants can buy food from these counters.
17) Does buying a seller pass allow access to the GAFX Conference happening from 27th Feb to 1st Mar 2025?
A: Yes, all B2B sellers will have access to the GAFX Conference. No extra registration required.
